\"Klantgerichtheid<\/p>\n

De afstand tussen Amsterdam en Livingstone (Zambia) is 7.500 kilometer. Dat is op de kop af tien uur vliegen. Zambia telt bijna evenveel inwoners als Nederland, maar is twintig keer zo groot. Meer dan 10% van de bevolking bevindt zich in de hoofdstad Lusaka, een stad met het dubbele aantal inwoners van Amsterdam. Lusaka is ook in oppervlakte twee keer zo groot als Amsterdam. Zambia is een voormalige Britse kroonkolonie en sinds 1963 is het een onafhankelijke republiek. De economie draait hoofdzakelijk op de koperindustrie.<\/p>\n

Andere wereld<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Het Bruto Nationaal Product per hoofd van de bevolking is in Nederland achttien keer dat van Zambia. De levensverwachting in Zambia is 60 jaar, in Nederland meer dan 80 jaar. Zo kan ik wel doorgaan. Op tien uur vliegen van hier bevind je in een totaal andere wereld.<\/p>\n

Klant centraal<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Tot ik sprak met Raymond Kufekisa, secretaris van het Zambia Institute of Marketing. Eind november 2018 organiseert het Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM) de 22 editie van zijn jaarlijkse marketingcongres. Verspreid over drie dagen verwacht het ZIM 250 tot 300 deelnemers, voornamelijk marketingprofessionals, die zich laten informeren en inspireren over de laatste trends in marketing. Raymond voegde hier aan toe dat de klant binnen bedrijven in Zambia een steeds prominenter plek inneemt en dat thema\u2019s op het gebied van klantgericht ondernemen – van customer centric strategy tot en met customer service – ook bij ZIM steeds vaker op de agenda staan.<\/p>\n

Klantverwachtingen & klantbehoeften<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Naarmate Raymond en ik elkaar via Skype langer spraken, voelde ik de afstand kleiner worden. Hij zat in Lusaka, ik in Zaandam. De thema\u2019s waar organisaties in Zambia worstelen, blijken in de kern niet wezenlijk te verschillen van de uitdagingen waarvoor organisaties zich in Nederland geplaatst zien. Omdat klantbehoeften en -verwachtingen van land tot land en van klant tot klant niet wezenlijk van elkaar verschillen.
\nIn ons gesprek werd duidelijk dat klantgericht ondernemen zich niet beperkt tot jouw organisatie, noch tot enig land of continent. Klantgericht ondernemen is een wereldwijde en onomkeerbare beweging die organisaties klantgerichter en de wereld voor klanten mooier maakt.<\/p>\n

Inspiratie voor innovatie<\/h3>\n

Ook voor jouw organisatie ziet de wereld er waarschijnlijk niet wezenlijk anders uit dan voor organisaties elders in Nederland, in Europa of, pak \u2018m beet, in Zambia. Als dat zo is, kun je de inspiratie voor innovatie ook \u2013 en misschien wel j\u00faist – vinden bij organisaties en op plekken waarvan je dat in eerste instantie niet verwacht.<\/p>\n
