Volgens eigen zeggen is Mr. Jonba <em>\u201dhet beroemdste medium\u201d<\/em>. Zijn beroemdheid is mij in al die jaren blijkbaar ontgaan, want ik kende Mr. Jonba niet. Hij belooft <em>\u201ceen leven zonder problemen\u201d<\/em>, <em>\u201dbescherming tegen elk gevaar\u201d<\/em> en noemt zichzelf <em>\u201dde juiste man om problemen snel op te lossen, zoals liefde, geluk, werk (\u2026)\u201d<\/em>. Nu heb ik liefde, geluk en werk nooit als problemen gezien, maar misschien komt dat omdat ik Mr. Jonba nog niet kende.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Traditioneel<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Wat mij het meest intrigeert aan het briefje van Mr. Jonba, zijn niet zijn beloften. En evenmin dat hij zichzelf per ongeluk &#8216;Mr Janba&#8217; noemt. Veel interessanter is het dat Mr. Jonba zich bedient van een traditioneel medium: ongeadresseerde huis-aan-huisreclame. Op het briefje staat zijn mobiele nummer. Niks website, niks e-mail, niks social media. Gewoon zijn telefoonnummer. Ik kan hem dus bellen. Hoe zou hij de telefoon opnemen? Met een kort en krachtig <em>\u201cMet Jonba!\u201d<\/em> of met een persoonlijk en vooruitziend <em>\u201cHey Frans, hoe is het?\u201d<\/em>. Want een medium als Mr. Jonba weet natuurlijk al dat ik het ben die hem belt. Zelfs zonder nummerherkenning.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Effect<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Ik laat mijn blik over de reclameflyer gaan en vraag me af: \u201cZou dit werken?\u201d. Kijk, en dat is nu het mooie van Mr. Jonba. Hij is de enige Nederlandse adverteerder die van tevoren weet dat zoiets werkt. Hij hoeft niet bang te zijn dat achteraf blijkt dat-ie zijn zuur verdiende centjes heeft verspild aan een reclameflyer die geen effect sorteert. Hij weet vooraf of het gaat werken of niet. Dat is het grote voordeel als je het \u2018beroemdste medium\u2019 bent met een vooruitziende blik.<\/p>\n<span class=\"et_bloom_bottom_trigger\"><\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Op een mooie dag valt bij mij een briefje in de bus van Mr. Jonba.
